Who is Westside? Westside is a group of committed followers of Jesus Christ. We come from all walks of life, but we share a common love for one another and for our community because of the love we have for Jesus. If you are looking for a place to be accepted and loved no matter who you are and what you have been through, then Westside is a church for you. When does Westside meet? Westside meets for Sunday morning Bible Study (Sunday School) at 9:45. We have doughnuts and coffee at 9:30. Sunday morning worship begins at 10:45 a.m. Wednesday night Bible Study and prayer begins at 6:30. We also have children's and student activities at 6:30. What is Westside like? Westside is a casual church. Come as you are! You will not be judged by the kind of clothes that you wear. We just want you to come. Westside is an uplifting church. The people are encouraging, the music is lively and meaningful. The messages are life-changing. Westside is a biblical church. We place significant emphasis on the Word of God. Each week you will hear Dr. Pounds preach a sermon that comes straight from the Bible. You will hear what God has to say about today's issues. What is there for my family? There is something for everybody at Westside. We have activities for preschoolers and children in the first through sixth grades to give them the tools they need to begin their faith journey. For the seventh to twelfth graders, we have opportunities for them to fellowship together, deepen their faith, and serve others. Our women’s ministry and our men are always looking for ways to minister to our community through service projects. Westside is a place where families can be strengthened as they serve the Lord together. What does Westside believe? Westside is affiliated with the Southern Baptist Convention, and our statement of belief can be found here. What is a Christian?
